5 June 2015 - Within the Octave of Corpus Christi (Commemoration of St. Boniface, B.M.)

Mass is as yesterday on the feast, with the commemoration of St. Boniface, Bishop and Martyr (as in the collects below) in place of the commemoration of St. Francis Caracciolo. The Creed is not said.

O God, who didst vouchsafe by the zeal of blessed Boniface, thy Martyr and Bishop, to call a mulitude of peoples to the knowledge of thy Name: grant, in thy mercy, that as we keep his solemn feast so we may also enjoy his protection. Through.

SECRET

May thine abundant blessing come down upon these offerings, we beseech thee, O Lord; may that blessing by thy mercy work out our sanctification, and make us rejoice in the solemn feast of holy Boniface, thy Martyr and Bishop. Through.

POSTCOMMUNION

We who are sanctified by these saving mysteries beseech thee, O Lord, that the loving prayer of Saint Boniface, thy Martyr and Bishop, may not fail us, to whom thou hast given him for advocate and guide. Through.
