Double - White
Saint Francis de Sales was the Bishop of Geneva. In shepherding his flock, he was known for his kind, pastoral approach to the religious divisions caused by the Protestant Reformation in the territory of his diocese. He also wrote on spiritual devotion and formation.
Nota bene: Due to the calendar date of Septuagesima, Epiphany IV is transferred to this day, and the mass is said with all the privileges of a Sunday.
